The title refers to the turtles rising to the surface. Unfortunately for her, Tiger Claw has prepared for her unexpected arrival. The Turtles, April and Casey try to befriend her, but turns on them and furiously goes after Tiger Claw alone. After hearing all of Splinter's strict instructions, they run out of the sewer. A dangerous female mutant, by the name of Alopex, appears with a personal vendetta against Tiger Claw. Excitedly, all the brothers gear up as they prepare for their first adventure on the surface. This leaves the turtles desperate, since they beg him by giving him puppy eyes. At first, Splinter disagrees, but Leo keeps trying to persuade him. Leo asks Splinter since they were now fifteen that it was time that they could go to the surface. This causes all of them to become mutants, making Splinter wanting their existence a secret. Splinter accidentally steps in the strange substance, dropping the bowl holding the turtles as well. The canister falls and shatters durring the tussle. His cover is blown, and the strange men and Splinter fight. They held a strange canister, and Splinter accidentally steps on a rat.
Strange men had bumped into him, and Splinter had decided to follow. Splinter begins to tell the story on how he had bought four baby turtles. As Splinter remembers it was their mutation day, Mikey begs for the story to be told. Mikey bakes cake, saying it was their mutation day. When their training is done, everyone goes into the kitchen to eat worms and algae. Master Splinter comes out of his room and congradulates each turtle for their fighting skill.Īfter boasting on his strength, Splinter touches Raph's pressure point, causing him to say each did well. Leo and Raph spar and are each able to take away one weapon of theirs each, but in the end, Raph becomes victorious. Leo is able to defeat Mikey, and Raph defeats Donnie.
